Stinky Is Good In A Garden Of Lies

Genevieve fluffed her pillows. She couldn’t wait to show them the album she put together. It showed the beauty of the home, and Patience’s wonderful sense of style.
Genevieve picked up the picture of Patience from her nightstand. It had been 20 years, and she still missed her so much it hurt. She still waited everyday for a letter, a phone call, or for her to walk through the door. Instead, she was forced to look at her first-borns. The ones who were so corrupt, they would do anything to get what they wanted. She always thought, no, she knew, they had something to do with Patience’s disappearance. And she wasn’t going to rest until she brought them down.
It had taken her so long to pull herself together after they received Patience’s letter. Nothing about it made sense. She and Donald never believed for one second that Patience left willingly. Donald went to his grave no knowing what happened to his baby. Genevieve wasn’t going to let that happen to her. She really started to pay attention to what was going on around her. The photo album made them nervous, especially Gracie. And whatever it was, Donnie thought he could solve it by dragging her to his “think tank”.
Genevieve turned the lights out and closed her eyes. “Patience, honey, leave me some clues.”
