Joey looked around his busy kitchen. That’s what he loved to see. He leaned against the stainless steel countertop, thinking about what he could accomplish if he had a bigger space. “One day soon,” he said to himself as he made his way over to the sink to wash his hands. “Very soon.”
“Hey Joey,” Brenda Paulson grabbed an onion. “The salon orders will be ready to go in a few. Can you get the bags ready?”
“Sure thing, babe.” Joey looked at his wife of fifteen years. If it weren’t for her hard work and dedication, they would still be catering for small parties. He couldn’t wait to surprise her with the new space. Nothing or no one would stand in his way.
