STANK EYE
Kathleen could breathe a little easier. Winston was by her side, and she knew he would protect her from anyone or anything that wanted to bring harm her way. Everything had worked out just like she knew it would. Tonya was out of the picture permanently, and Winston was back where he belonged. It was hard to suppress a smile even with Liza Somers giving her the stank eye.
Winston could sense Kathleen’s discomfort. He glanced around the room and found the source. Liza glared at the two of them. He’d never seen so much hatred in his life. He wiped his sweaty palms on his pants. He knew he would have to face Mr. Somers sooner rather than later. What he would say was a mystery to him. He had to muster a little sadness before he reached the table. Genuine grief was what he needed to portray. Truth was he felt more sadness when he flushed his first gold fish.
